BARRICK GOLD CORPORATE RAP SHEET
Where was the BC Securities Commission all these years?
The article below from another dedicated shareholder of Mountainstar Gold is extremely revealing as to what Barrick is really all about. Scroll to African operations. Tanzania. What actually happened there, as I have learned from many trips to Africa in the 1990’s was:
In a gold bearing area, Dad, Mom and sometimes one or more of their children would pan for gold to make a living. Dad would dig a 1 meter by one-meter pit. He would send up the dirt to Mom and kids and they would pan the gold out of it. They would send the pan back down and Dad would fill it up again.
This would repeat until Dad had dug down to bedrock. The greatest gold values are almost always at bedrock. From there, Dad would then tunnel along bedrock to recover the gold values. What Barrick did now was beyond words.
While the men were underground, they moved big excavators and bulldozers over top of the pits and collapsed the tunnels on the men below burying them alive as their wives and children watched.
